Others, like Ebony Stafford (Hemodialysis Training, Dialysis Education Services) and Mashayla Curry (Licensed Vocational Nurse, Downey Adult School), are fast-tracking their careers in essential industries.
A common theme among participants is resilience. Many are single parents, first-generation college students, or career changers seeking stability and growth. They dedicate up to 10+ hours per week to studying while utilizing mentorship, tutoring, and support networks like Moms Wellness Network and P.A.I.D. to stay on track.
As they work toward completion within 6 months to 2 years, their ambitions are clear: gain credentials, secure higher-paying jobs, and uplift their families and communities.
