Marjorie Gilberg

Under her leadership, Fore Women evolved from a historic service organization into a catalyst for economic mobility, expanding direct cash assistance, workforce development, housing stability initiatives, and advocacy efforts throughout Los Angeles and California. Marjorie helped launch one of the county’s earliest Guaranteed Income initiatives and has become a leading voice on economic opportunity, financial security, and systems change for women.

Prior to joining Fore Women, Gilberg served in executive leadership roles at Live Nation’s Music Forward Foundation and Break the Cycle, where she advanced national efforts to support young people and prevent relationship violence. She was also a founding member of the No More campaign, a groundbreaking national movement dedicated to ending domestic and sexual violence.

Gilberg currently serves on the Los Angeles County Consumer Affairs Advisory Commission, advising the Department of Consumer and Business Affairs on issues affecting consumers and communities across the county. She earned a bachelor’s degree in American Studies & Ethnicity, with a minor in Bioethics, from the University of Southern California, where she was awarded a Nathan Cummings Social Justice Fellowship.
