NCJWLA Partners with Armanino for “Great Give” Volunteer Takeover at The Council Shop
Los Angeles, CA — On May 1 from 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM, NCJWLA will partner with Armanino for a “Council Shop Takeover” at its Fairfax location (360 N Fairfax Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90036) as part of the Armanino Foundation’s Great Give. This hands-on volunteer event brings employees together to support a mission-driven retail model that funds programs for women and families across Los Angeles.
During the one-day activation, Armanino volunteers will work alongside staff to support store operations, including organizing and curating donated goods, assisting customers, and helping maintain an inviting retail space. Their efforts will directly contribute to The Council Shop’s ability to generate critical funding for NCJWLA programs.
The Council Shop is a cornerstone of NCJWLA’s social enterprise model, transforming donated goods into resources that support direct cash assistance, career development, and advocacy efforts aimed at advancing economic justice for women.

By diverting clothing and household goods from landfills and increasing access to affordable, high-quality items, The Council Shop plays a key role in both environmental sustainability and community support.
