Overview

Thriving in Place helps West Hollywood residents stay in their homes during times of financial hardship.

The program provides flexible rental assistance to help prevent eviction and keep families safely housed. Depending on each household’s needs, support may include help with overdue rent or temporary rental assistance while participants work toward greater financial stability.

Participants also receive one-on-one guidance from our Housing Stability Team and have access to workshops on budgeting, tenant rights, career development, and other practical topics that help them build a stronger future.

By combining housing support with helpful resources, Thriving in Place gives residents the opportunity to remain in their homes, navigate financial challenges, and move forward with greater confidence.

Eligibility

• Reside in West Hollywood
• Pay at least 40% of their net income toward rent and have a verifiable income source to cover their portion during and after program support (the program does not cover full rent amounts)
• Have experienced recent financial hardship (within the past six months) or be at risk of eviction, with arrears not exceeding two months’ rent
• Pay rent at or below $2,800 per month
• Not have received Fore Women rental assistance within the past 18 months

Recipients must be on the path to financial recovery, not in severe financial distress, and able to maintain rent independently moving forward.
