When Veronica first connected with NCJWLA, she was doing everything she could to keep her family afloat. She was unemployed, raising her children on her own, and after experiencing homelessness, any sense of security felt fragile and uncertain.
Then, something shifted.
Through our P.A.I.D. guaranteed income program, she gained stability for her family. She enrolled in our Career MOMentum job training program and learned how to navigate new professional settings, plan financially, and step confidently into new opportunities.
Veronica gained stability and the mobility she needed to breathe again.
Today, she is building toward prosperity, with new certifications from the NRF Foundation in Retail Fundamentals and Customer Service & Sales; she is moving towards a career in management and dreams of owning her own business.
